One of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity's 9 Key Values is Being Rather Than Seeming. A Zeta who understands and lives this key value...
Shows vulnerability and allows others in
Interacts with others in an authentic manner
Shows a genuine interest in getting to know others
This key value hits home even more so if you are a North Carolina Zeta! Our state's motto is Esse quam videri, which is a Latin phrase meaning "To be, rather than to seem."
